KRISTOFFER ALBRECHT

These silver prints are Kristoffer Albrecht's observations on his close neighbourhood in the little town of Porvoo, dating of the year 2000. The artist photographer calls his works notes on a landscape that has been used as a motiv by hundreds of artists and tourists for the last centennium. What Albrecht has made notes of is really not the landscape at all, but the atmosphere, the prevailing light, mist, feeling in the air.

Under the Porvoo photos there are a couple of photogravures dating to the years 1983-86.
