KIRSI NEUVONEN

was born 1960 in Keuruu, Finland. She is one of the most beloved and best known Finnish printmakers. She has been very productive ever since her graduation from the Lahti Art Institute 1984, having given more than 50 solo and even more group exhibitions both in Finland and abroad. Kirsi Neuvonen has always been renewing her art, getting new sources of inspiration from art history and her own life.

As an artist Kirsi Neuvonen is a sensual esthetician, a happy hedonist, an art historian and a scholar, a lover of myriad details and, last but not least, a skillful master of her medium, metal graphics.
