Sirpa Särkijärvi

Sirpa Särkijärvi (born 1974 in Muonio, Finland) is a young graphic artist who graduated from the Turku Art College in 1997. She lives and works in Turku.

The prints in the collection are combinations of several printing techniques like etching, aquatint, softground, carborundum and serigraphy. A lively and eloquent, partly restless line is characteristic for Sirpa Särkijärvi as a drawer.
